It's back again for 2007.
This weekend (19th May) sees some of the worlds top downhill stars and 4X stars rip it up on the streets of Lisbon. 5 time winner Steve Peat will be hoping to make it No. 6.
We'll have the results as it happens. We also hear that F1 star Rubens Barrichello will be in the paddocks hanging out with the Honda G-Cross riders.

"The track is very wet and muddy and rather then risk running event on what would be a very wet weekend we have taken the decision to postpone until June 2/3rd
We want everyone to enjoy themselves at our events and feel that spending the weekend in a very wet muddy field is not going to be fun for anyone, least of all the all spectators and riders.
I know some would of you would love the race in the rain, but with this being a new track we realy want to save it and for it to be an amazing weekend on racing on a realy dry and sunny June 3rd!
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and will transfer or refund any entries already received."

Virgo, Spain was the location for round 0ne of the 2007 Downhill and 4X world cup. And what a strong showing from the brits, with Marc Beaumont taking the downhill and Gee Atherton taking the 4X. Looking down the results it’s nice to see so many UK riders making the trip across to Spain to race. From the top 10 in the men’s DH 4 places were occupied by UK boys. Tracy Moseley came second in the women’s DH behind Frances Sabrina Jonnier.
